Hostgator impersonal tech support answers for 503 errors

Hostgator tech support never really address the issue.They usually never tell the customer what really went wrong on their server or why the customers site was down with the 503 error 
503 Service Unavailable
The server is currently unavailable (because it is overloaded or down for maintenance).[2] Generally, this is a temporary state. Sometimes, this can be permanent as well on test servers.
