Tying to figure out Google search logic

My reply to the quote by Google Product Manager Jack Menzel  

How stupid would your friend think you are if he asked for the bus schedule and you googled and google could not find the local bus schedule because your friends had not shared any local bus info ?

When a user googles a keyword ,the user has already discounted getting the info from their social circles and needs to search for new information NOT related to their present circle
