image maps or image hotspots html wysiwyg editors

I wanted to make images maps in ubuntu similar to what ms front page did in windows (without the crappy extra code FP inserts)

tried sea monkey - found this editor is real basic without features (Cannot make image maps)

googled some more

came across kompozer and quanta plus
ome applications required for full functionality are missing:

- KImageMapEditor [] - editing HTML image maps will not be available;
KImageMapEditor is a tool for Linux/KDE that allows you to edit image maps of HTML files.
It can be fully integrated with Quanta since it is based on KPart technology.

You may download the applications from the specified locations.

update kompozer #fail has not image map or image hotspot feature

i found you can goto the ubuntu software updater and type in KImageMapEditor and download the software (the trouble with ubuntu is you need to keep googling or asking around or trying to find a solution as most of the solutions are not documented clearly or not part of the default setup due to the flexible os solution)

FINAL Summary

The best is installing the KImageMapEditor from the ubuntu software updated (applications> last option)
The below solution needs some knowledge of html
The best thing i came across is an online image map generator

Everything below is FAIL
